The pretest is a traditional paper-pencil test to assess the student's prior knowledge.
The posttest is designed to meet the creativity level of Bloom's taxonomy. In this final project, the students will compose a song or rap using some of the key vocabulary terms and main concepts presented in the unit. The required vocabulary terms are (but not limited to): Evolution, Charles Darwin (or just Darwin), Survival of the fittest, Natural selection, taxonomy, Carolus Linnaeus (or just Linnaeus).
